Dr. Victor Ekuta is a Neurology Resident Physician, Scientist, and Advocate committed to advancing brain health equity. His research explores racial disparities in Alzheimer’s biomarkers and post-stroke aphasia, and he was recently recognized as a 2025 Doximity Digital Health Fellow and a Cell Press Rising Black Scientist Awardee. As Master Editor for the Boston Congress of Public Health, he led a writing course and mentored fellows in equity-focused advocacy. He is passionate about using inclusive innovation to ensure digital health tools are equitable, effective, and accessible for underserved communities.
Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?
A: I’m driven by the belief that everyone—regardless of race or background—deserves access to equitable, high-quality brain health care, and I’m committed to building tools and systems that make that vision a reality.
