Leading lights advancing novel ideas and new approaches that improve health for all humanity

René Quashie

VP, Digital Health
Consumer Technology Association

I am the first-ever Vice President, Digital Health, at the Consumer Technology Association leading the Association’s efforts in the health category by providing advocacy and thought leadership, building industry coalitions, leading special initiatives, and hosting many industry convenings bringing together industry, academia, and government stakeholders. I work with federal agencies like FDA, CMS, and ASTP/ONC, and other related government agencies, and speak regularly at conferences and symposia on emerging health technology issues. I previously was in private law practice for over two decades at several national firms and earned my law degree from George Washington University.

Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?

A: As health care continues to be in crisis, I am motivated by technology's immense power to change lives for the better when adopted appropriately.
