Mike is a husband and new father, living in Virginia with his wife Leah, son Winston and 2 dogs. He's been in healthcare since 2007, with formative years in Revenue Cycle at the Advisory Board Company and Optum Insights and began building in the startup world in 2018 culminating in Anomaly. He's passionate about challenging the status quo in healthcare in favor of a more transparent and cost effective ecosystem. Professionally, he's dedicated his career to building the technological foundation for tomorrow's revenue cycle, and in policy work to building and shaping regulations to support healthcare's new tomorrow as an appointee of Governor Youngkin to the Virginia Board of Health.
Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?
A: People. I'm an husband, brother, son, father, and employer in a position to drive change in an industry that all experience, frequently on our worst day. I'm driven to make it better for those I love, and to support those working to make it better.
