John Beadle is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Aegis Ventures, a NYC-based venture studio and investment firm that builds AI-native startups to address healthcare’s most pressing challenges. Raised by a single mother and nurse, John developed an early passion for healthcare access and equity. Under his leadership, Aegis has launched 5 successful AI-enabled companies tackling critical issues across the healthcare ecosystem. Collectively, these ventures raised over $200M in institutional funding. In 2024, John partnered with Mayo Clinic CEO Dr. John Noseworthy to launch the Aegis Digital Consortium, an alliance of 11 leading health systems to co-develop and scale transformative AI startups.

A: What drives me is making healthcare simple, accessible, and human—something people can trust and navigate. If we use technology to reduce friction, scale empathy, and restore connection, we move closer to the system people deserve.
