Ellen is the Founder and CEO of Summer Health, a leading pediatric telehealth platform. She was previously Head of Business Development at hims&hers, focusing on partnerships and growth. Ellen is also a Sequoia Scout, investing in Seed and Series A consumer tech companies. She earned her MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, where she was a Partner at Rough Draft Ventures, General Catalyst’s pre-seed fund. Before HBS, Ellen worked at Twitter and Barclays Capital. She co-authored Pitching & Closing, a guide to business development in startups.
Q: What motivates you to continue working towards change each day?
A: The idea that children in the wealthiest, most industrialized nation are disadvantaged because they can't access good medical care deeply troubles me. Children should have access to quick, on-demand care to help us raise the healthiest generation
